Garment remodelling with purpose

We help clients rethink garments that still have value, whether the goal is a better fit, a new shape, or a creative reuse of existing fabric. Every project begins with a review of the garment, its condition, and the requested outcome.

Our approach is practical and collaborative. We explain what can be changed, what the material can support, and how the work will be carried out before anything is approved.

Our story

A workshop built around reuse

Since 2022, Tailor Fit has focused on remodelling garments in a way that respects both the fabric and the original piece.

Tailor Fit was founded to give clothing a longer life through thoughtful alteration and redesign work. Instead of treating every item as disposable, we look for ways to improve fit, refresh style, or reuse strong fabric sections.

That includes dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, vintage pieces, and sentimental garments that deserve careful attention. Some projects are simple fit updates, while others involve more detailed remodelling or accessory-making from reclaimed fabric.

Each job is reviewed on its own merits. We discuss the garment, confirm the scope in writing, and move ahead only after the concept has been approved.

What we value

How we approach every project

Our work is guided by clarity, material awareness, and a respect for clothing that still has more to give.

1A

Careful assessment

We start with a garment and material assessment so the work reflects the item’s construction, condition, and available fabric. That keeps the project realistic from the beginning.

2A

Clear project planning

Our redesign process is built around clear communication. We outline the concept, confirm the scope, and only begin once the design has been approved.

3A

Material-aware remodelling

We aim to reuse strong parts of the original garment wherever possible and match thread or trim when available, while keeping the result practical and finished well.

4A

Defined process

From the first inquiry to collection, the process is structured to keep expectations clear, including written scope, review points, and a final fit or finish check.
